Bicentennial Gala Gladness
A spark of inspiration in November of 2019 became a grand 200th Birthday Celebration full of fun, fabulous flowers and food, fancy dresses and fasinators, frolic on the dance floor and a fabulous time for our Trinity friends and families! It was an evening we will long remember.
Many thanks to the “Gala Girls”: Donna Bell, Suzy Bagan, Kari Marino, Katie Hall, Judy Johnson, Madeline Krumenauer, Sally Myrick, Melody Ness and Nancy Birchall for two years of planning, regrouping due to COVID, and creating a beautiful event worthy of the occasion.
A special Thank You is appropriate for Kay Puckett who designed and created our elegant flower displays. She and Sally Myrick made Trinity Hall look gorgeous! And our beverage stations were handsomely manned by: Jeff Felter, Herb Greenleaf, Alex Wilson, Carl Gill, Tom Myrick, Ray Johnson, Dwight Smith, and Jack Crocker. Caleb Jones, Ron Birchall and Tom Myrick ably provided willing “manpower” for set-up and clean up.
Highlights were all the wonderful food provided by many of the parishioners, the danceable, singable sounds of our local Carpetbaggers band, and the balmy beautiful evening to enjoy being outside in the Seymour Garden.
We were also blessed to have Bishop John Howard and his wife, Marie, on hand to help us celebrate, and our amazing clergy.
God bless all who helped us joyfully honor our history and love our church family.
