Melissa Henderson

An Atlanta native, Melissa brings over a decade of experience in vocational ministry from non-denominational churches in the Southeast. She holds a Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Semiotics, Church, and Culture from Portland Seminary.

She married her husband, Mike, in 2020 during a “Covid wedding.” She then moved to Saint Johns, joining her family as a bonus mom to Michael and Dylan—though she’ll admit their dachshund, Addi, truly runs the household.

Melissa enjoys traveling and visiting theme parks with her family (though her willingness to ride a roller coaster varies by the day.) She is also a writer and storyteller, with a particular interest in exploring faith through early Christian art.
